Application Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all applicants to Project CHARM.
By submitting an application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below.
1. Eligibility
Project CHARM is open to professionals working in adult social care in England.
Applicants must:

Hold a leadership position in their place of work (ie Deputy Manager, Clinical Manager)

Be working in a social care setting regulated by the Care Quality Commission
-
Be able to attend all programme dates if selected
Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a place on the programme.
2. Application process
All applications must be submitted via the official Project CHARM application form.
Selection is made through:

A written application
-
Submission of current CV
-
A short interview for shortlisted applicants
Places are limited. Selection decisions are final and made to ensure a balanced, engaged cohort.
Incomplete or late applications may not be considered.
3. Accuracy of information
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and truthful.
If any information is found to be false or misleading, Project CHARM reserves the right to:

Withdraw an offer of a place

Remove a participant from the programme
This applies both before and during the programme.
4. Programme commitment
If offered a place, participants are expected to:

Attend all scheduled programme days
-
Complete learning activities and assignments
-
Participate respectfully in group discussions
Project CHARM is designed as a cohort experience. Repeated non-attendance or disengagement may result in removal from the programme.
5. Fees and costs
Project CHARM is delivered free of charge to participants.
However:
-
Travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs are the responsibility of the participant or their employer
-
Time away from work is not reimbursed
-
The cost to cover the CMI accreditation is not covered.

There is an administrative cost of £150 for any non-attendance in any of the modules.
Participants are advised to discuss practical arrangements with their employer in advance.
6. Changes to the programme
Project CHARM reserves the right to:
-
Amend programme content, dates, or delivery format where necessary
-
Change facilitators or venues due to unforeseen circumstances
Where changes occur, reasonable notice will be provided.
In the event that the programme is cancelled, applicants and participants will be informed as soon as possible.
7. Equality, diversity, and fairness
Project CHARM is committed to fair access and inclusive selection.
Applications are assessed using consistent criteria.
Optional equality monitoring data is collected only to evaluate fairness and does not influence selection decisions.
Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
8. Confidentiality and group learning
Project CHARM includes reflective discussion and shared learning.
Participants agree to:

Treat personal experiences shared by others as confidential

Not disclose identifiable information about individuals, services, or organisations discussed during sessions
This does not prevent participants from applying learning in their own practice.
9. Data protection
Personal data is collected for the purposes of:

Processing applications

Managing the programme
-
Monitoring fairness and quality
Data will be:

Stored securely
-
Accessed only by those involved in programme delivery
-
Not shared with third parties without consent
Data will be retained only for as long as necessary in line with data protection legislation.
10. Feedback and evaluation
Participants will be asked to:

Provide feedback during and after the module and programme
-
Take part in evaluation activities
Feedback may be used in anonymised form to improve future programmes or report outcomes.
Participation in the evaluation does not affect progression or completion.
11. Course Requirements
Course requirements are required to proceed in every module. This consists of:

Written assignments
-
Programme Evaluation
-
Module evaluation
-
Group presentations
-
Face to Face Attendance
At the end of the programme, participants will receive a CPD certificate along with the CMI verified certificate of attendance.
12. Withdrawal
Applicants may withdraw their application at any time before selection.
Participants who are offered a place but can no longer attend should notify the programme team as soon as possible so the place can be offered to another applicant.
13. Liability
Project CHARM is not responsible for:

Personal loss, damage, or injury incurred during travel to or from programme activities

Employment-related decisions made by participants or their employers
-
Any guarantee of a promotion after the programme
-
The programme will not result in a regulated qualification
Participation does not guarantee promotion, role change, or regulatory outcomes.
14. Acceptance of terms
By submitting an application, you confirm that:
