Our Charitable Purpose

Filipinos in Care is a charity established for the public benefit to support people working, or seeking to work, in health and social care. Our purpose is to advance education, promote physical and mental well-being, foster social inclusion, and promote equality, diversity and good relations within the care sector and the wider community.

We deliver this purpose through professional development initiatives, educational and leadership opportunities, pastoral and peer support, community engagement activities, and networking spaces that strengthen connection and participation.

Our work is intended to create public benefit by helping individuals to access support, build confidence, reduce isolation, and contribute more fully to the life of their workplaces, communities and the wider care sector. In doing so, we aim to support a more inclusive, connected and resilient workforce, while promoting the value and contribution of Filipino professionals in care.

Who We Support

Our principal focus is on Filipino people in the United Kingdom who are working, or intending to work, in health and social care. While our activities are shaped around the needs and experiences of this community, the wider public benefit is seen in the promotion of stronger workforce support, improved community participation, and greater inclusion within the sector.

Our Commitment

Filipinos in Care is committed to carrying out its work with integrity, accountability and compassion. We aim to ensure that our activities remain consistent with our charitable objects, responsive to community need, and effective in delivering positive social impact.
