With 38 years of nursing experience which started in the Philippines, 25 of which have been in the United Kingdom, Aileen is an accomplished and compassionate healthcare professional with extensive expertise in clinical leadership, elderly care, and service management. A registered nurse of the Nursing and Midwifery Council since 2001, Aileen has built a career grounded in delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care while maintaining the highest professional standards.

In the past 11 years, Aileen has held senior leadership roles, demonstrating strong managerial capability and a deep understanding of care home operations successfully led all aspects of service delivery, including regulatory compliance, budget management, and team development. Known for fostering a positive and empowering workplace culture, Aileen has consistently supported staff growth and retention, ensuring continuity and quality of care for residents.

In recognition of her innovation and leadership, Aileen was honoured with the “Branching Out” Award at the company’s 20th Awards Night, an accolade that highlights her initiative in expanding services, embracing new opportunities, and driving meaningful improvements in care delivery.

Serving as a trustee of Filipinos in Care is both a responsibility and a privilege. Aileen is committed to supporting and empowering Filipinos working in social care, promoting excellence in care, and fostering a strong, compassionate community that upholds our shared values and cultural pride. 

In the Philippines, Aileen is also a believer of paying it forward through charitable work, together with her husband and daughter, she give back to the community by supporting causes that create positive and lasting change and make a meaningful difference in the community.
