Dr. Patrick Simon S. Soria is an internationally recognized Filipino nurse leader, educator, healthcare executive, and advocate committed to advancing the nursing profession and strengthening global Filipino nursing communities. He currently serves as a Member of the Minnesota Board of Nursing in the United States and is the President of the Philippine Nurses Association of Central Minnesota (PNACM), where he leads initiatives focused on professional development, mentorship, workforce support, and community engagement.

 

Dr. Soria earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with honors from Regis University and also holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Arts in Nursing from the Philippine Women’s University. His leadership training includes executive programs from Harvard Medical School and The Wharton School. In recognition of his sustained contributions to nursing leadership and health policy, he was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.

 

Throughout his career, Dr. Soria has championed initiatives that support internationally educated nurses, promote equitable healthcare access, and strengthen leadership pathways for Filipino nurses worldwide. He has been actively involved in academic leadership, nursing regulation, workforce advocacy, and international collaboration, with a strong focus on mentorship and community empowerment.

 

Known for his collaborative and service-oriented leadership style, Dr. Soria continues to inspire nurses across diverse healthcare systems through advocacy, education, and professional excellence. His work reflects a deep commitment to uplifting the Filipino nursing community while advancing compassionate, ethical, and culturally responsive healthcare on a global scale.
