Terms and Conditions of Participation
Aspiring Registered Manager Programme
Organised by Filipinos in Care CIC
1. Programme Overview
The Aspiring Registered Manager Programme is a free, four-day modular leadership course aimed at developing future leaders in adult social care, specifically within CQC-regulated care homes. Participants must complete all four modules and associated tasks to be eligible for a certificate of completion.
2. Eligibility
Applicants must be:

Currently working in adult social care in England.

Employed in, or aspiring to work in, a leadership role in a care home setting. Applicants who are already working as part of the care home leadership team is an advantage but not required.

Committed to attending all scheduled sessions in full and participating in activities.
3. Commitment and Attendance Policy
By enrolling in the programme, you agree to:

Attend all four modules in full.

Participate in interactive activities and complete any pre- and post-session assignments.

Notify the organisers in writing at least 7 days in advance if you are unable to attend any session.
Non-Attendance Fee

A non-attendance charge of £75 may be invoiced if a participant fails to attend any module without valid prior notice or acceptable reason (e.g., medical emergency with supporting documentation).

Participants who miss two modules (consecutively or otherwise) without valid justification will be removed from the programme and will not receive a completion certificate.
4. Certificate of Completion
A certificate will only be issued to participants who:

Attend and actively engage in all four modules.

Complete and submit all required reflections, activities, or assessments to a satisfactory standard (as determined by programme facilitators).
5. Data Protection and Privacy
By applying for this programme, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information in accordance with UK GDPR. Information may be used for:

Programme registration and administration

Issuing certificates
-
Internal monitoring and improvement

Evaluation and reporting purposes (anonymous where applicable)
Your data will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent unless legally required.
6. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to provide high-quality training and a safe learning environment:

The organisers are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage (direct or indirect) arising from participation in this programme.

Participants are responsible for their own actions and any consequences during or outside of programme activities.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials provided are the intellectual property of Filipinos in Care CIC and/or facilitators. These materials are for individual use only and must not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.
8. Changes and Cancellations
The organisers reserve the right to:

Make changes to programme content, format, or dates as necessary.

Cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., facilitator illness, venue issues), in which case reasonable attempts will be made to reschedule.

By submitting your booking form and participating in the programme, you agree to the above terms and conditions.
