Filipinos in Care announces affiliation with Care England, strengthening its voice across adult social care

London, 19 April 2026 — Filipinos in Care (FIC) is proud to announce its new affiliation with Care England, marking an important milestone for the organisation and a significant step forward for the Filipino community working across adult social care. The announcement follows FIC’s second anniversary event at St Mary’s Abbotts Centre, Kensington, held under the theme “Caring with Excellence, Care that Evolves”, celebrating award winning Filipinos in social care and inspiring journeys from healthcare into the adult social care sector.

Through this new affiliation, Filipinos in Care will gain access to Care England’s wider network and communications platform, including opportunities to amplify its work through articles, blogs, social media, e shots, podcasts and webinars. Care England has also created a directory page for FIC and highlighted strong interest in FIC’s work, including the Project CHARM article, which received around 8,000 views.

The partnership is a meaningful development for Filipinos in Care and its members. It gives FIC a stronger platform to advocate for internationally educated professionals in the sector, raise the profile of their contribution, and open up more opportunities for collaboration, visibility, leadership and professional growth.

Jay Trondillo, Co Founder of Filipinos in Care, said:

“This affiliation with Care England is a proud moment for Filipinos in Care and for the community we represent. It strengthens our voice within adult social care and creates new opportunities for our members to be seen, heard and recognised for the value they bring to the sector. Filipinos have long made an inspiring contribution to care through compassion, competence and leadership. This partnership helps us build on that contribution by creating more space for representation, collaboration and influence.”

He added:

“For our members, this means access to a wider platform, greater visibility and stronger opportunities to share their stories, expertise and ambitions. For Filipinos in Care, it is another step in our mission to champion excellence, support progression and ensure that the international workforce in social care are not only present, but visible in leadership and sector change.”

The affiliation also reflects the growing recognition of Filipinos in Care as a credible and valued voice in the sector. In its message following the anniversary event, Care England described the organisation as having created something “incredibly special” and expressed pride in being associated with its work.

As Filipinos in Care continues to grow, the organisation sees this partnership as a foundation for deeper collaboration and wider impact. It reinforces FIC’s commitment to celebrating achievement, developing leaders and creating meaningful opportunities for the international workforce who continue to shape the future of adult social care in the UK.
